I wasn't really thinking about it that much so it came as a very pleasant surprise.  I'm sure most of you experienced it too.  The weather usually isn't THAT big of a deal and if today had been a rainy/cloudy/blustery/snowy/cold kind of a day I wouldn't have thought twice about it.  As I was buzzing around getting things ready for Saturday's SHAPE class and our worship service on Sunday I found myself thanking the Lord for squinting (which in my case leads to sneezing) and then for sunglasses.  Sunglasses?  Yes, I used sunglasses today.  And my car's visor.  At one point I considered ditching the sweater but February has an "r" in it.  Why is that important you may ask?  Well, as my mother would be happy to iterate, "its not warm enough for shorts and t-shirts if the month has the letter R in it."  For the most part it actually makes some sense but this advice was only casually followed in April and September.  I kept the sweater on today Mom.

Why in the world am I rambling on about a nice day at the end...

Typically when I write an entry for 3rd Timothy it is because I have something to say.  A passage of Scripture, a thought, an event or an idea has blossomed that seems appropriate or even beneficial to share.

Today I’d like to shift gears just a bit and open things up.  I’d like to put my ear to the ground and listen to what is going on with you!
