Tim Stobbe Pastor Email Tim	Tim was born and raised in a loving Christian home in Abbotsford, B.C. Canada. After storming the castle, slaying the dragon and rescuing his bride, Tina, they began their journey together in the fall of 1996. He graduated with a B.A. in Leadership and Ministry from Alberta Bible College with studies at Columbia Bible College and ministry experience with a short-term mission agency, Venture Teams International (VTI) contributing to the degree. Before coming to WayPoint in 2001, Tim and Tina served with VTI in the discipling and training of new team members for a little over 3 years in Calgary, AB. Tim and Tina are enjoying life here on the Key Peninsula with their 2 children. Tim’s favorite part of serving as the pastor at WayPoint Church is seeing people continue to make steps closer to Jesus. Having a staff that laughs at his jokes is pretty good too.
Rory Adams Associate Pastor Email Rory	Born in California, Rory moved six times before settling into the Key Peninsula area at age 11.  From a young age his parents told him about Jesus but it wasn't until he was 16 that Rory truly began to follow Jesus.  After graduating from Peninsula High School Rory moved to Bellingham to study Math at Western Washington University.  In 2003 Rory accepted a two-year internship at his home church.  Rory planned to work with the youth part-time while studying for a Master's in Education.  But God had other plans.  Rory has been hanging out full-time with the youth of WayPoint Church and the Key Peninsula ever since.  In 2005 Rory became a better man by virtue of marrying the woman of his dreams.  Rory and his wife, Jen, have two daughters.  They love WayPoint because it is a great place to connect with God and people who love and need Him.
Renee' Smith Office Manager Email Renee'	Renee’ Smith joined the WayPoint staff October of 2008 as our office manager and bookkeeper. She grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Judson Baptist College. After 10 years in Northern California (where her web feet disappeared) she returned to the Northwest. Gig Harbor has been her home since 1997. Over the years Renee’ has enjoyed ministering to others through directing dessert theater ministries, short term missions trips, singing and “using what God has brought me through to comfort and encourage women”. Renee’ is always willing to share her story of God’s amazing deeds in her life whenever the opportunity arises. Renee’ is the mother to three wonderful daughters ages 11, 21 and 23 and is the wife to one wonderful man, David. She has enjoyed working with the other WayPoint staff and is looking forward to being a part of God’s plans for this church and our community.
