Reaching Out to Guatemala

At WayPoint Church we believe in reaching out to our world with the good news of Jesus Christ.  Most of the time this is focused right here on the Key Peninsula, but every now and then this mission takes us to the ends of the earth. 

In the summer of 2008 we sent a team of 17 to work with a group of Guatemalan pastors.  We spent 11 days in the Solola region of Guatemala.  We traveled to schools and presented the Gospel through skits and testimonies.  We also assisted in the construction of a sound room and school used for pastoral training, radio broadcasts, and Bible translation.

The trip was a huge success.  God blessed us and the people of Solola.  We are planning to continue this partnership and we are excited about what God will do next.  Please prayerfully consider joining us on a future trip!
